It was a pleasure working with Graeme. He takes initiatives to make the product perfect as much as possible. He finishes his assignments well before the estimated time with good quality and asks more stuffs to do. He is technically sound at the same time he tries to make the UI looks perfect. I wish him all the best. Hope to work with him in future.

Graeme is a hugely experienced developer and produced some of the key functionality on our iPhone development project. He has in-depth JQuery mobile, HTML 5 and CSS3 skills and is a good problem solver and fixer. Graeme sets himself high standards and often went above and beyond to ensure the work got done without sacrificing quality.

I am a tech lead working at Sapient in London, specialising in mobile and tablet projects, particularly large, complex web applications. I have completed a banking application for a major international bank, and am currently working on a recipe/cooking app for another well known international brand. I am currently working for EMC Consulting developing a new Retail On-line Banking website for a major UK bank. This application has been written to have no page refreshes once the user has logged onto the secure site. Everything has been done with modal “popups” and take-over windows, with communication to the back-end servers via Ajax. This application makes extensive use of object oriented javascript and is a true “web application” rather than website. My contract ends at the end of August 2010. Show less

June-Dec 2009 Working as part of a team of 25 contract programmers, I developed the front end for the new Tesco Digital website www.tescoentertainment.com As one of only two Javascript developers on the team, I helped create an extensive object-orientated javascript framework based around Mootools, which helped speed up development time and allowed a far greater range of animation effects, validations, Ajax and other features than would normally be possible. I made extensive use of CSS to create a large range of complex page designs. Show less

Together with one other developer, I created a new Lucozade Energy website using CSS, XHTML, Javascript, JQuery and ASP.NET (C#). www.LucozadeEnergyChallenge.com. Lucozade were offering a series of adventure holidays and are tying the promotion in with sponsorship of series 9 of Big Brother. The site bought together feeds from Twitter, YouTube, Flicker and a blog to show the experiences of prior "challenge" winners while promoting the next challenge. I completed all of the front end (browser side) code for this site, and about 25% of the back end code. I created the site to be compatible with IE6,7,8, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome. The project was built on time and on budget, despite the specs changing daily even while development was under way! Show less

Created two new modules for the NetPay online payroll system: one to export payroll data to a 3rd party accounting system via a RESTful Web Service using extensive CSS, Ajax and XML, and one to import timesheet information from an external source.

Redeveloped website to use CSS rather than Tables for layout. This allowed the site to be rebranded and used for a number of different insurance productsInefficient and buggy browser code (Javascript) was rewritten to be a quarter of the original size, faster and more efficientImproved the SEO of the site by moving to Standards Based Layout, moving all Javascript to a separate file and greatly simplifying the HTML without changing the visual design of the siteCreated a new version of the website for a different product categoryRewrote Ajax and Server side code (VB.NET code) to be more efficient Show less
