I have worked with Graeme across a number of marketing campaigns at Tesco Bank. He has demonstrated a breadth of experience by being able to land successful trade driving and awareness initiatives (both for online, in-store and ATL). His can do attitude and ability to work as part of any team has been extremely refreshing. Graeme has been an invaluable contributor to the trade success we have seen over the last year.

Neil Clews BEng (Hons)

Graeme has proved himself as an invaluable member of the team over the last few years at Reaqua Systems. He has come into a fast moving and challenging environment and very quickly developed the skills required to support the business and brand visibility in the marketplace. His work in website development and social media creation has created important traction. His tireless research into the construction industry and market sectors, a deep understanding of the various sales triggers and route to market opportunities have all contributed tremendously to our sales and marketing effort. Integral to our brand visibility was our presence at various industry shows (Ecobuild, The Water Event), permanent exhibition spaces (BRE, The Building Centre) and seminars. Graeme was tasked with project managing our involvement in these events and he did this with a creative approach and the utmost attention to detail. An effective worker, Graeme is well organised and approaches each task with the appropriate level of thoughtfulness and enthusiasm. Graeme is both worthy of praise for his achievements and would make a valuable addition to anyone's business in the future.

Reaqua Systems manufacture greywater systems that redistribute bath and shower water, filter then disinfect it for reuse in flushing toilets. This was an exciting and challenging role as this innovation was the first of its kind in the UK. As it was a small company I was not part of a larger marketing department but instead worked alongside the sales team and the CEO. I was responsible for: • Managing all event activity for the company. Identified suitable events, dressed stands and prepared all marketing collateral and graphics. Also managed staffing and all logistics. • Heavily involved in the launch of the website. Worked alongside web designers on the look and feel of the site in addition to writing the copy to be used. Managed and updated the site on a regular basis after launch. • Updated company brochure (including a rewrite of the copy). Worked with a graphic designer to change the brochure style from what was used pre product launch into something I thought was more customer friendly. • Case studies. Wrote the copy and used Adobe Illustrator to design the documents. • Social Media. It was my responsibility to manage all Twitter and LinkedIn activity. • Video. Designed an animation showing how the greywater systems work for use at trade shows. • Lead generation. Used various construction databases to cold call and introduce the new product and warm leads up before passing to the sales team. • Customer segmentation. The product was aimed at a wide range of business sectors (self-builders, housing developers, leisure centres, offices) and each have different needs to fill, it was highly important to get the messaging right for each target market. The investors pulled funding and the company closed therefore I was made redundant. Show less

Selling products to customers as well as processing cheques and dispensing cash. Matching a range of products to specific customer needs, with targets to hit for appointments booked and converted sales from leads passed to other colleagues. The Lloyds takeover has meant a change in all computer systems across all areas of the bank, resulting in disruption and customer complaints which I feel I have dealt with exceptionally well. A brand new set of computer systems have had to be learned and mastered while on the job, despite this I have achieved all targets set. Have been on inquiries desk, fielding general inquiries and more complex problems customers may have with their accounts. This role includes registering power of attorneys on accounts, fraud investigations and talk through our range of bank accounts in detail with customers. Branch buddy for Financial and Mortgage advisers. This includes filtering communications from them to branch staff and making sure their diaries are filled whenever the are in branch. Keep management support diary up to date, a weekly list of tasks which must be completed in order for the branch to pass risk tests. Tasks are delegated to various members of staff and must be carried out to a specific standard. Show less
