I had the pleasure of meeting Graeme while we were working as Native Speaking Teachers at HESS International Educational Group from 2017 to 2018. Although we did not work at the same branches of the company, I really got to know him through company trainings and events. What I particularly noted about him is his strong cultural sensitivity, as he often displayed curiosity regarding different aspects of Taiwanese news and culture and made sure he kept his knowledge up to date with his own personal research. He applied his knowledge in his personal relationships with locals to foster stronger mutual understanding. This was assisted by his Mandarin Chinese skills, which he worked tirelessly to improve throughout our entire contract in Taiwan. No matter how tough of a day we had, I could always count on Graeme's ability to step back and make light humor to relieve stress. His intercultural communication skills, strong work ethic, and hardy spirit would make him an excellent addition to any team.
