Worked with FLYHT Aerospace Solutions to build a serverless, full-stack app with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Angular. The project is a digital twin for an aircraft IoT gateway that will show real-time and historical sensor data and system health metrics on the user dashboard for specific flights. Able to process over 500 messages per second from 2000 concurrently connected gateway devices, complete with live subscriptions. Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineer

Assumed the role of Control Systems and Instrumentation lead for the multi-projects group to manage a team of both local and remote staff across different cultures and time zones. The project scopes were very broad. My personal areas of specialization include: - Full and partial PLC, Telecommunications, and network upgrades - Secure system integrations with DMZ and Process Control Networks - Control Narratives and Cause and Effect Diagrams for PLC and DCS programming - Multiple full Electrical Switchgear Building installations and replacements including full telecommunications (wide variety of protocols and media), monitoring, and control wiring - Fibre-optic-based, pipeline leak detection systems - A wide array of instrument and valve installations for varying scopes, complete with control wiring, logic, and communications integration I became very familiar with the start-up, scheduling and tracking, procurement, design, and construction phases of a project. Developed an understanding of the importance of verifying third-party interfaces and the correctness of detailed engineering deliverables. I learned many new technological concepts, and the importance of communication when there are multiple parties involved in a complex design. Show less
