  - Lead a multi-national development team of up to eight developers that developed, maintained and supported large scale applications using Java and related tools, following an agile development process. - Worked closely with the QA team to analyze code for system testing and debugging, creation of test cases and to isolate and rectify issues. - Took a lead role in the design and development of a brand-new web-based Delivery Application, making use of technologies such as Spring, OSGi and GWT. - Introduced new Rest API layers into existing enterprise applications to enable custom client extensions and allow interaction with IoT and cloud systems. - Led the evaluation of the impact to the company’s existing applications due to the changes introduced in the Java 9 release. - Participated in an agile scrum development process working to four-week sprints, including daily scrums, story refinement sessions, planning and end of sprint meetings. - Training of new team members in new and existing technologies, the applications that they will be working on and software best practices such as code reviews and unit testing. - Introduced measures to ensure that all code submitted by myself and my team was of the highest quality.
