I’ve worked as Lead classroom teacher in the TBP program and as a Curriculum Resource Teacher. I facilitated the implementation of Reggio Emily Approach within a tuition based program. I was an active member of the Budget Committee in the development of Early Childhood Playground Projects for Blaine Elementary School. As a Resource Teacher in Early Childhood Department – CPS - Citywide Position Parent Resource, I organized and implemented parent teacher meetings in either schools or in neighborhood community centers where I covered a variety of areas such as: literacy, math, cultural issues, behavioral concerns and the various academic developmental stages. I liaised with the administrative offices of Early Childhood Department of the development and implementation of new Early Childhood Education pilots and classroom sites which required working with Educational suppliers which was done within the constraints of budgetary allowances. As a Curriculum Resource Teacher; I supported teachers by visiting them in their classrooms, on a monthly basis, by facilitating, creating and implementing the necessary educational resources for the appropriate grade level and developmental stages.
