Dear Search Committee, As former Associate Dean and Director of the Academic Success Center at Rosemont College, I had the privilege to work with Mrs. Lennon for two years in the Student Academic Success Center (SASC). She has been a vital part of the functioning of SASC. In her capacity as Administrative Assistant she has held several roles. Mrs. Lennon served both as the front contact person and the person behind the scenes keeping SASC functioning. As often the person students had first contact with, she has honed her skills in assessing needs and problem solving with students to either assist them with connecting with another SASC team member or pointing them in the right direction to another office. On the behind the scene role, she has kept SASC organized with her expertise with Excel, using it to track everything from CARES day records, to student hours, to budget expenses and inventories. She works well with procedures, and is systematic with her approach to projects paying attention to details and asking for clarification as appropriate. All of which was critical for SASC’s overall function. Throughout her various responsibilities, Mrs. Lennon interacts with numerous stakeholders on campus, from students and faculty, to staff in offices including Student Accounts, Registrar, Financial Aid, and Admissions. With all these groups she has demonstrated her ability to work well with a wide range of personalities, building vital bridges. While always working consistently and fulfilling her responsibilities, Mrs. Lennon went above and beyond during COVID. If it had not been for her willingness to step into support roles and work on some additional projects SASC would not have been able to function over the summer and fall. This reflects her overall commitment to her job and her work ethic. She can be counted on to do what needs to be done and support the team in any way she can. She has also shown self-initiative, identifying issues and creatively coming up with a solution, instead of always waiting to be told to do something. The best example of this was the difficulty SASC had with onboarding student workers. This past fall Mrs.Lennon, took the problem on and initiated the development of an onboarding manual for students. Once fully implemented, it will smooth the process and save everyone stress and time. She has also demonstrated a desire and commitment to professional growth. This has extended from enhancing her skills with Excel and Rosemont specific programs such as Sciquest (accounts payable program) and Jenzabar (student records) to broadening her knowledge of student-centered issues around Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ and Growth Mindset. In conclusion, I strongly believe that Mrs. Grace Lennon’s organization, systematic approach and detail oriented focus makes her an excellent employee. I and would hire her again given the opportunity. I am confident she would serve as an asset to any team to which she becomes a par

I was a Business Analyst and had the pleasure of working with Grace at SaaS Solutions LLC. Although she was new to Salesforce at the time, she worked hard to gain proficiency and become an advanced user of the system. Grace also worked well under pressure to keep our office well managed, and interfaced with SaaS team members, clients and vendors in a timely and professional manner in multiple roles. If you are looking for a reliable and hardworking member of your team, I would recommend Grace for any office administration role in your organization.
