With two stores located around Melbourne's south east - Church Street, Brighton and Chapel Street, Prahran - Handworks offers an eclectic range of gifts, home wares and stationery. A wonderland of both local and international product, Handworks is a street favourite in both of its locations.As a sales assistant in both stores, my role involved:- Assisting customers in need of help choosing a gift or card- Gift wrapping and other customer service extra's- Sales transactions and cash management - Opening and closing the store- Assisting the manager with ordering- Unpacking, processing and merchandising new stock
