  Worked closely with the Youth Education Program Manager to develop Outdoor School Summer Camp for students. I also supervised groups of up to 30 students in environmental education summer programs. With support from the organization, initiated the Green Leadership Coalition (GLC). GLC is a group of students in Central Oregon who are passionate about sustainability in schools and in their communities. This group meets regularly and is education and action-based. Assisted staff on projects (Rethink Waste program and garden based-events) and provided support at public relations events. As well as conducting administrative tasks using software skills (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Salesforce, ClickUp, report writing from SurveyMonkey, etc.) for the Youth Education Department.   Started volunteering there in 2016 doing weekly food preparation and serving meals when needed. Then in 2021 I started my internship there. Where I coordinated and built a volunteer scheduling system using Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Signup Genius. I also developed relationships with large and small donating organizations, volunteers, and intact volunteer groups. Assisted with donation acquisition and distribution including food donations from local businesses and deliveries to shelters. As well as attending monthly Family Kitchen Board of Trustees meetings. Presented recommendations on youth involvement, as well as a final internship report to the Board. Started a Youth Advisory Board which allows future interns to contribute to Board meetings. Prepared and served meals which provided opportunities to connect with and assist diners. Show less
