Bio
Cristina Espinoza
Let me tell you about Grace Northern - she's an ingenious, lively yet practical person with an eye for fairness and logistics. I worked with Grace during our 3 months of training as well as in project design/facilitation for a Girl's Leading Our World (GLOW) empowerment camp. Grace was a key facilitator and logistics manager for this project and many others in her community. Her respectful, engaging approach to managing the [many] strengths and challenges of development work in her remote, mountain community exemplify her resilience and resourcefulness. What a person to have on your team - Grace is a genuine, zealous, and tactful changemaker.

I have developed a close professional relationship with Grace over the past two years as we served as Peace Corps Volunteers in Costa Rica. During these two years, Grace has displayed extensive knowledge in the realm of community and youth development - specifically in designing, managing, and executing projects. She possesses a wide array of abilities and has demonstrated proficiency with team leadership and relationship building. When we first met, I was immediately impressed with Grace’s kindness, communication, and professional approach to her Peace Corps service and my respect for her abilities has only grown with time. I have seen Graces capacity as a team member and can say that she is observant, thoughtful, and creative. She thinks critically about how to improve each project. She is able to express herself incredibly well and can very naturally shift into the role of teacher and mentor, guiding others to be as productive as herself. Beyond her professional talent, Grace is a joy to work alongside - she is an encouraging team member and always maintains a positive and energetic attitude.
