Pack House Manager; Real IPM Company Oct 2009-Feb 2022; Duties and responsibilities: • Quality - Manage and implement a quality team. All products leaving the Pack house must be of the highest quality standard and meet customer’s quality specification. • Pre-Planning & Production organizing – Planning the production runs for the day and communicating these with the line leaders. Dealing with daily orders and setting up operational procedures including stock control of relevant materials. • Labor Management–Meet production plans by managing line packers work schedules. Liaise with the HR Manager and Training Manager for labor requirements, ensure that all teams are capable, and have received required training. Team includes 25 packers, quality control leaders, dispatch team and line leaders. • Logistics–Ensure that all the logistics involved with delivering product to our customers are carried out. This includes booking daily haulage movements with several haulers and reporting pallet movements to our sales manager. • Audit–Ensure that all product traceability systems are accurately controlled and monitored at all times Monitor that all Pack house procedures are undertaken and appropriate action taken where required to ensure that all packing practices and procedures are compliant. • Team Building and Communication: Work closely with the team leaders to build a strong Pack house team creating the correct work environment to allow workers to flourish and give them opportunities to progress. Ensure that good communication is achieved and that any potential problems are reported. Show less
