She was a very quick study at the time of my teaching her. She was always eager to learn new techniques and methods for doing things. She was a passionate and a very hard worker. I would have loved to have worked with her more. I highly recomend her as she is a diligent and hard worker at all that she sets her mind too.

I was in charge of conducting research on one of the earliest colonial settlements in America. I was tasked with researching, cataloging, and analyzing artifacts from said site. I was also responsible for creating illustrations and maps for placement in publications. My final task was to create reports on the findings from the site for publication. I was hired to research and repair a historical cemetery dating to the American revolutionary period. I employed a series of remote sensing and GPS techniques in order to determine where graves that were no longer marked were located. I repaired and fenced in the cemetery in accordance to SHPO regulations. I also created interpretive history signs to place around the park, as well as a program for the park to run for students to learn about the parks history as well as archaeology. Archaeological excavations were conducted in order to determine if a site was of previous cultural significance. Technologies like Trimble were utilized to keep track of where excavation units were placed. My duties were to assist in the teaching of archaeological techniques to students interested in archaeology. I was also responsible for communicating with the public in a respectful and lasting way about the research that was being conducted.
