- I attained this part-time position by being selected from applicants at Monash University. - I teach literacy skills primarily to year 7 and 9 students, using the Probe 2 and Keys to Reorganisation, Inference and Evaluation toolkits. I have worked with targeted groups of 5 students to extend on their literacy skills in these areas. I also plan microlessons for these groups. When I am not leading these targeted groups, I am assisting in normal class proceedings with the literacy teacher. - I support students in the High Achievers program, who are engaging with Project-Based Learning through Cura Education. This is primarily STEAM focused and I tend to work more closely with students who are engaging with areas of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. - I have utilised opportunities presented at the school to assist with and observe year 10 Science and year 9 Numeracy Intervention classes, a year 11 Biology class and a year 12 English class. - I have gained extensive experience using the school management system Compass and Microsoft Teams. - Other duties include navigating Microsoft office including entering data into Microsoft Excel and using office equipment including a printer.
