In addition, I support administration in data collection to track student progress across grade levels, as well as plan and initiate opportunities for teacher/administration collaboration to foster broad-scale student development. I was responsible for the instruction of 16-18 Kindergarteners in a predominantly ESL classroom in an urban school district. I authored and developed curricula with a focus on early learning milestones to establish a solid foundation of learning across subjects. In addition to writing and implementing lesson plans and individualized student IEPs, I also coordinated assessments targeting student pacing milestones as defined by the district, with special attention to student enrichment and remediation as needed to meet state educational standards. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I assisted my fellow educators with implementing online learning platforms such as ClassDojo, Seesaw, and Canvas, as well as developed lesson plans for use in remote-learning environments such as Zoom.
