  In this role, I work with students of diverse learning needs and behavioral issues. I am responsible for developing and executing curricula that reach students in difficult learning situations and whom require advanced care and specialized behavior support plans. In addition, I support administration in data collection to track student progress across grade levels, as well as plan and initiate opportunities for teacher/administration collaboration to foster broad-scale student development.   I was responsible for the instruction of 16-18 Kindergarteners in a predominantly ESL classroom in an urban school district. I authored and developed curricula with a focus on early learning milestones to establish a solid foundation of learning across subjects. In addition to writing and implementing lesson plans and individualized student IEPs, I also coordinated assessments targeting student pacing milestones as defined by the district, with special attention to student enrichment and remediation as needed to meet state educational standards.
