  Passie voor Rotterdam Govart (Govert van der Heijden, 1985) heeft een eindeloze passie voor Rotterdam. Voor Govart is Rotterdam een bijzondere, rauwe en robuuste stad met prachtige beeldbepalende architectuur. En de stad wordt alleen nog maar mooier! Zijn liefde voor de stad uit Govart door tekeningen en schilderijen van typisch Rotterdamse gebouwen en plekken te maken. Govart's werk karakteriseert zich door harde contrasten, scherpe hoeken, diepzwarte vlakken en subtiele details. Hij werkt voornamelijk met acryl en Oost-indische inkt op canvas en paneel, maar ook met digitale technieken. Daarnaast maakt Govart muurschilderingen op locatie. Meestal werkt Govart in opdracht van particulieren en bedrijven. Met zijn opdrachtgevers gaat hij op zoek naar wat de gezamenlijke visie is op Rotterdam en hoe dit het beste verbeeldt kan worden in een uniek en persoonlijk kunstwerk. Show less
