Pragyan, the international techno-managerial organization of NIT Trichy, which came into being in 2005, strives to provide a platform for a multitude of students to showcase their technical ingenuity and prowess.Pragyan basks in the limelight with the London Olympics and football club Manchester United, as one of the three organizations to have ever achieved the ISO 20121:2012 Certification for Event Sustainability Management System. Pragyan also holds the coveted honour of being the only student-run organization amongst the three. Pragyan also has the ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System and has been registered as a case study in The Case Centre, London.The Technical Council of NITT takes pride in being one of the pillars supporting Pragyan to achieve greater heights. The Tech council works under the aegis of Pragyan as the "Pragyan Technical Council." The versatile nature of the council has made it possible to aid Pragyan through ideation for technical showcases, the introduction of initiatives (such as the PEARLS portal & Human Library), and engaging the student community (through events like InHott, The Inter Hostel Technical Tournament & Gamescapes). The Technical Council works at par with the Students' Council to achieve collaborative excellence by administering technology in NIT-T. We take initiatives for community development and address campus issues by imparting feasible technical solutions. Along with ensuring the smooth functioning of student-run technical clubs, we coordinate with the on-campus centers of excellence such as the ISRO research center, Siemens Lab, CEDI, IoT lab, and Scient to establish a platform for technology to thrive.The Technical Council works under the aegis of Pragyan (the international techno-managerial organization of NIT Trichy) as the "Pragyan Technical Council.".
