Currently I am the Chief Operating Officer ( overall location In-charge) of SALPG (of rank of General Manager in HPCL), a 50:50 joint venture between HPCL and TOTAL France. First underground LPG Cavern in Asia, capacity 60,000 MT importing Propane t (-) 42 Degree C and Butane at (-) 5 Degree C in cryogenic condition in VLGC. Blending the two product into LPG, storing in underground Cavern and dispatching through 14” HPCL pipeline. Ship discharge rate of average 650 MT/Hr and dispatch of app. 250 MT/Hr. It is a unique facility in entire Asia handling Propane & Butane in huge flow rate in cryogenic condition. We have completed 4.5 million man hours without even any incident. Leading a team is my core competency. PRESENT RESPONSIBILITIES: • Overall location In-charge of first Indian underground 60,000 MT capacity LPG Cavern at Visakhapatnam, AP, India. First in Asia. • Overall In-charge of operations, technical and organizational interest. • HSE, Security, Inspection, shut-down maintenance, projects, co-ordination, procurement and HR. • Providing leadership to lead a team of around 40 qualified and highly skilled & experienced team of Engineers, HR and Finance personnel. Total employees around 175. • Co-ordination in internal and external auditing. • Currently a member of Oil Industry safety Directorate, MOP&NG, Audit Team. Has carried out several Safety Audits of various LPG Installations of OMCs at various locations in India last several years. • Carried out several Safety Audits within various locations of HPCL in India individually and also as a member of Multi-Disciplinary Audit Team during last several years.
