Presently, I work remotely with clients completing our outpatient recovery program. I not only work with clients providing Psycho-Educational Sessions for 8 weeks. Here they are encouraged to take a focused inventory of their lives in an effort to uncover and explore the underlying traumas that result in their addictions. I provide both individual and group sessions for the outpatient programs. Additionally, I also facilitate a number of weekly aftercare groups. -
Interim Executive Director (Contracted)
-
Jul 2020 - Oct 2020
I was thrilled with my short term position with the Sharp Foundation. They have a long and celebrated history of successes in the non-profit world here in Calgary. Established in 1990, the SHARP Foundation is a Calgary-based non-profit organization committed to providing a continuum of care including housing, healthcare, and support to those living with HIV or at the highest risk of contracting HIV. Today, The SHARP Foundation's primary focus is helping residents live longer and have sustainable lives instead of primarily acting as a palliative care facility, but most importantly help residents become independent and integrate into the community.
