My time in this role has allowed me to develop exponentially. I enjoy the regular challenge surrounding the provision of growth and outcome achievement within both the business and within my personal and professional goals individually. This role has allowed me the opportunity to utilise my industry skillset to drive multiple professional outcomes, as I utilise my technical knowhow in the electrical operations construction space, alongside managerial expertise, to drive multiple concurrent positive outcomes. In this role, I completed duties as a Tunnel Electrician on the M5 Westconnex Tunnel Project, where my technical understanding and expertise has ensured that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, and that all activities and outcomes are in alignment with legislative and safety policy requirements. This position has allowed me to further develop as an industry authority and figure of influence in the space, often assisting others and providing supervision and leadership, where required. This position has provided further growth opportunities for myself as a professional and an individual.

    • Electrical Leading Hand
      • Jul 2018 - 2019

This role saw me working closely with staff and contractors on the M4 Westconnex Tunnel project, in a leading hand capacity. I regularly delivered optimal outcomes in the role, utilising my industry expertise and understanding to evaluate labour and inventory needs, whilst actively managing the performance of Electricians and Trade Assistants under my supervision. My technical understanding/utilisation of CAD systems was a positive inclusion in this role, where I regularly set out instruments to specific chainage marks/requirements. Further to this, I placed a focus on safety and ensuring that outcomes are in compliance with legislative requirements, mitigating risk and possible infractions. I was able to grow my leadership and supervisory skills in this role, assisting others through mentorship, training, and supervision - ensuring that new recruits and existing members are performing optimally. This role allowed me to develop my leadership skills in a professional setting.
