I reported to Gordon for just over 12 months whilst he was at RSi. He was a great people manager who spent time focusing on the teams strengths and development opportunities. I believe that the team progressed significantly under his leadership. He was also a really pleasant, honest and candid guy to be around. Personally I learnt a lot from his strategic thinking. Setting a vision and then creating strategies to achieve that vision has been pivotal in my career. Not something I would have identified in myself prior to working with Gordon and therefore something I wouldn't necessarily have focused on. Gordon has a great way of building strategies and then taking people along on the journey, something many of us watched and learnt from.

I experienced first hand his skill in both creating a strategy and building a team to deliver that strategy.
