  Roadside Service Technician CAA Atlantic Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Provide emergency roadside assistance to CAA/AAA members WOW Program, going beyond the immediate needs of our members Provide emergency roadside assistance to Major Automotive Manufacturers Prepare and assemble new towing and service vehicles Mechanical repairs and diagnostics during roadside calls Vehicle towing and winching Maintain and repair tow vehicles and equipment Training of employees in Operations, Defensive Driving, and Roadside Safety o Develop training manuals for Light Duty Towing and Recovery o Develop training manual for Light Service Truck operators o Travel to our other markets to provide training (NS, NB, NL) o Driver performance and evaluations Diagnose battery and electrical systems and install batteries Operate light service truck, tow truck (F-350, F-450), flatbed truck (F-550, F-650) Roadside diagnostics for “On the Go” program Present two hour information seminars at the NSCC (mechanics course) Insure operations comply with DOT and Vehicle Compliance Assist other technicians with difficult and/or dangerous tasks Listen to and resolve member’s concerns regarding services Promote all services and features of CAA/AAA Show less
