  Gordon worked at Oregon Genetics, and in other sub-companies and the parent company of Oregon Genetics, as their Graphic Designer in an office environment. He worked along side the lead graphic designer and creative manager. His main duties were, but not limited to, brand designs, concept art, product design, advertisement/promotional design for social media and emails, in house print design, and office form production.He complete product design and projects on a weekly basis. Projects were completed by either adapting to the company's given assets or created from scratch. Drafts and mock up were created hourly. He oversaw and created brand guides, assets, and digital promos for social media and emails from the start to finish.

  Started during his senior term at PSU as experience for the business side of graphic design. Gordon did conceptual graphic design work for the clients and the company using Microsoft and Photoshop from day to day to complete tasks and projects.In addition, Gordon worked at Pacific Direct Marketing Company Inc. as a client liaison. His main duties included research, creating graphics, and photographing products for their website. He also worked with clients to create products from start to end of project transaction; communication with clients, drafting, creating product designs, and processing orders with e-commerce to fulfill client’s orders.

Job environment allowed creativity to experiment with individual creations to help promote and progress the establishment’s financially. He worked alone, but in return was able to maximize staff and consumer relationships. In addition to being the only employee at work, it required him to understand complicated systems, oregon's lottery systems, janitorial, waiter, host, and stockroom roles.
