  Improve the mouse production pipeline in measures of timeline reduction, production efficiencies and waste reduction through the application of lean principles of standard work. Investigate new areas, technologies and techniques in the field of genetic engineering, ultimately stress testing and developing them into a stable and robust process to increase Ozgene's capability. Spearheaded a process improvement drive by self-teaching a new skillset. This knowledge was shared, and applied with problem solving skills in a team environment to produce results. Over the course of three short months, new processes or process improvements were designed, analysed and implemented. The outcome was cost of targeted processes was reduced 50-80%, throughput was doubled, timeline reduction achieved and all waste was eliminated. This cascaded into an ongoing improvement ideology, with similar goals and achieved results. Continued to learn and apply Lean methodology across a number of different teams, leveraging the principles of Lean and scientific methodology to empower and coach staff through their own improvement drives.
