The single, most lucky moment in all of my undergraduate years was the moment when I caught the interest of my lab professor. After a 20 second conversation Goran had invited me to his lab and became my mentor ever since. Goran Bozinovic is arguably the most sincere, passionate professor at UCSD when it comes to both his personal research, but even more so his desire to help push his students to realize their true potential. Goran did everything in his power to make sure I was given all the opportunities and resources to help me soar into the industry with priceless hands-on experience using techniques at the forefront of science today. Goran would never take credit for any of my achievement because of how humble he is but if you get a chance to exchange words with this man, consider yourself lucky and take advantage of it!
