  The committee concentrates on supporting members interests in legislative and international issues; analyzing current IP issues; enabling capacity building and creating awareness about the merits of protecting and defending IP. Among other things, the committee this year proposes to work on strengthening of IP Ecosystem of states, monetizing IPR as a financial instrument, executive education programs in IP, harmonizing IP laws with other laws in the country etc. with special focus on MSMEs. Our Group Focus is on policy advocacy while revisiting the laws and practices related to Patents, Trademark, Designs, Copyrights, Semiconductor, GI and making them friendly to right holders for enforcing their rights to minimize counterfeiting and piracy
