· MSc Thesis: Prey, predator and livestock: Population estimation of snow leopard and blue sheep with implications for livestock depredation. Supervised by Dr. Charu Dutt Mishra, Executive Director, Snow Leopard Trust, Seattle, USA & Dr. Kulbhushan Suryawanshi, Scientist, Nature Conservation Foundation, Mysore, India. · I integrated multiple methods from camera trapping survey of snow leopards, household level surveys, and statistical analysis to determine the relative influence of different factors (e.g., livestock density) on snow leopard predation on livestock. The published paper out of this research shows livestock and predator density largely influences livestock depredation by snow leopards. Show less
