      During this Internship at the 'Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas', I was capable to put in practice my knowledge in theoretical physics thus creating multiple data manipulation algorithms in MatLab and Python to correctly observe the data obtained by the laboratory's muon telescope. I attended multiple workshops, provided by professionals working at LIP, such as introduction to C++, ROOT and Machine Learning, as well as lectures regarding Particle Physics and CERN related topics. Moreover, I attended "FISICA2020" with my project colleagues, organized by 'Sociedade Portuguesa da Física', where we presented our internship in a 3 minute pitch. Show less
