I initially hired Thiago and then worked alongside with him in a similar position but with different regions. Therefore he's been one of my closest colleagues. Thiago certainly did not land in an easy situation with Latin America and especially Brazil being hit by multiple crisis, including the pandemic and currency exchange volatility. Nevertheless he always kept his analytical cool and kept firmly executing whatever was reasonable and feasible in the constantly changing situations. Given our matrix organization, he also had to actively build trust and working cooperation relationships with our various overseas teams. While successful in that, Thiago also became a very appreciated and well liked colleague to all those working together with him.
