I worked with Dean on several projects over the years. Dean is an excellent firmware engineer, and expert in all things cybersecurity. On many of those projects, Dean's job was essentially to come in and design & implement a complete cybersecurity strategy for an embedded system (usually a system that had already been in development for some time, *without* any cybersecurity concerns taken into consideration). This is a very difficult task, which requires working closely with other firmware and electrical engineers on the team, and developing a deep technical understanding of the firmware system, all while product features are still being developed/debugged in said embedded system. In all of these things, Dean always comes through, and furthermore is a delight to work with!
