Nov 2006 - Present
I started with Brickhouse Security in late 2006, entering the company during its fledgling years being thrown into sales. When I started, we were in essence a new company with our CEO as a part of the 4 man sales team, with annual income around $500,000. Then we started growing. The evolution of our Brickhouse Security took us to a new office space in Midtown Manhattan, just blocks from Herald Square, and eventually we outgrew the new office and expanded into our down-sizing neighboring office space. In the first five years of my tenure at Brickhouse I quickly went up the ranks in the sales team, becoming one of the most knowledgeable members of the team, and the first sales rep to hit the $2 million mark in total sales. I did a brief stint as sales team lead, but as it detracted from my sales numbers, I opted for the Senior Sales position. With the company reaching a staff size of well over 50 people, and annual gross income exceeding $16 million by 2010, it was time to take Brickhouse to the next level, and the addition of a Merchandising department within the confines of our Marketing Department. Being one of the most experienced and knowledgeable members of the staff, I was moved into that department to assist our VP of Merchandising who came to us from Barnes and Noble. Its time to take Brickhouse Security and myself to the next level. My job in essence is to help prepare Brickhouse for our new back-end software, and our new front-end done through Market Live. By Q1 2012, the new Brickhouse Security will be born. Show less
