Godric is an experienced and highly capable IT Systems Architect. His ability to analyse a business requirement, visualise and then produce a viable and sustainable working solution in tight timescales is exemplary. Godric reported to me on the roll-out of a significant IT infrastructure change programme where he effectively dealt with numerous technical challenges and stakeholder management issues. He is able to build a good rapport with peers and managers at any level. He was highly effective in managing internal customers as well as IT Vendors and was always willing to deal with problem management. He combines well between his wealth of technical knowledge and his solid understanding of the key priorities for the business. Godric is one of the fastest learners that I have ever worked with. He is always focused to deliver customer centric service. He is well-respected among his team members; he is a great team player and a fantastic mentor for junior members of his team. I worked with Godric for nearly two years and in that time found him to be a hardworking and committed professional who constantly exceeded my expectations and it was an absolute pleasure to work with such a great guy. I would welcome any opportunity to work with Godric again and have no hesitation in commending his skills, experience and approach.

Lumon makes international payments & hedging effortless for consumers & businesses, and over the past 15 years we are proud to have moved billions of pounds around the world – with one goal in mind – to provide world class payment services to all our customers. I am responsible for the technology ecosystem within the PE-backed business, and in June 2021 was promoted from Head of Technology into CTO, to help lead the global expansion of the firm. Throughout this time, I have held control and ownership for the IT budget and roadmap. At Lumon I have championed an aggressive tech transformation project – ensuring all IT platforms, processes and controls implemented are resilient, scalable, cost effective, and align to the wider business strategic roadmap. Key deliverables include: M&A – Overseen the acquisition of five international payments businesses over a period of 30 months, integrating a diverse range of technology, people and processes into a singular, effective IT team and function. Cloud – Transition from multiple legacy ‘on-prem’ architectures to Azure cloud, promoting serverless and micro-architecture solutions that are both scalable and secure. Security – Implemented appropriate security controls and processes to drive a secure development lifecycle. Championed a ‘zero trust’ cyber security model that is both fit and proper for a financially regulated payments business. Digital Transformation – Development and launch of digital onboarding and online portals, built on a modern architecture framework - transforming what was a predominately telesales into an online business. Automated the onboarding process for private leads via Technology, providing ‘straight through processing’ utilising brokered KYC checks to enable online account activation in under 5 minutes (previously 3 days). Platform – Consolidated 5 inherited trading platforms and associated back-end systems. Rebuild entire platform to a modern, scalable microservices architecture. Show less
