  I led the transformation of the In-House Development Team’s coding standards, agile practices, code reviews and source code management. Designed, deployed and administered a Team Foundation Server 2010 installation for use in continuous integration and developer work-item management and productivity. Created the middle-tier business logic modules for the force’s CrimeTracker ™ public-facing MVC 4-based application which is used by the general public for checking progress on a crime’s investigation. Created three core API Assemblies using C#, LINQ, Entity Framework and Oracle Data Provider for interfacing into the Police Force’s most critical databases. These APIs Assemblies are used by 90% of our applications as entry points into those databases instead of making direct calls. The APIs combined have over 100 objects & interfaces with well over 300 method calls. Created version 2.0 of the Force’s Digital Imaging and Evidence Unit’s main Content Management and Workflow management system used by over 2000 police officers. System was built using C# ASP.NET Webforms, Telerik UI Ajax Controls, Entity Framework and SQL Server database back end.   Created Ericsson's Client Requisition Work Flow Application (WRCR V1.0 & V2.0) used by Ericsson,T-Mobile, Orange and Three UK as part of the Network Consolidation Project (GODIVA). This critical tool, which I built single-handedly, enabled end users in each of the parent companies to take part in the Work Request Approval Process Workflow. I designed the database schema, stored procedures & Views. I also created the Business Logic Middle Tier using C# and the full User Interface for the application Designed an end-to-end Logistics & Equipment Management tool (LEMT) for use by Ericsson Services UK. The tool features included Forecast Allocation, Call-Off Allocation, Order management and Warehouse Pick-List management. The windows service performed real-time monitoring of target directories for real-time data extraction from files uploaded to the server via external front end applications. Created our in house shared component library to facilitate team productivity and reduce code duplication. The component library was used at the business logic layer in both WinForms and ASP.NET applications Used Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and TFS (Team Foundation Server) as the primary tool for source code control as well as continuous integration. Led the development of a 3-tiered Process Management Application (NETLOG) using ASP.NET/C# 2.0, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2000/2005. I led the requirements specifications, systems architecture design and managed all of the code development within the entire project life cycle. Designed and built a bridging ASP.NET application using the Oracle ODP.NET data provider. The Oracle 10g was the host database for a standalone in-house Windows Forms application. Show less
