Glynne's book 'Follow the Recipe' really challenged me to master how to present and communicate better in various aspects of my life ( and I thought I was already pretty good at it!) This shouldn’t have surprised me as I’ve known Glynne professionally and as a friend for twenty years now. He is simply one of those people you meet who excels at everything he puts his mind to. I was captivated by the personable and conversational style of the book – exactly the same as Glynne is in person. His first book delivers the gold he has learnt over many years of presenting in business, educational and personal settings. The fact that it describes the recipe for preparing a great presentation, while at the same time following that very recipe in the design of book is completely mesmerizing. Now that’s clever! The book literally practices what it preaches – that’s why you know the recipe will work for you by the time you finish this book! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to become a more effective communicator.

I worked with Glynne on the Board of Trustees at Henley School. Glynne was elected Chair of the Board and I was Deputy Chair. Glynne's energy and enthusiasm was infectious. These strengths combined with his ability to build a team, his committment, tenacity and strong sense of ethics guided the board through some very challenging times. I would highly recommend Glynne for any future leadership role he might consider undertaking.

My role was to undertake supplier selection and contract negotiations with a broad range of the bank’s suppliers. I represented the bank’s business units as the single point of contact to maximise the bank’s negotiating power. A key part of this role was to work with the various business units to help determine strategy in relation to supplier selection and negotiation and to ensure a co-ordinated, consistent representation to the market.
