      A concientious, professional and dynamic individual I have been working in an administrative role in the RAF since 1987 and have been put into positions that have challenged me in many environments and situations, with a need to produce the end product; often with minimal supplies available, sometimes in austere locations.I have also had to work through difficult situations providing advice to various personnel ranging from money management to careers advice. I have managed and motivated teams of personnel to run an administration office at locations all over the world and still able to produce the required result. Also writing appraisals on staff to evaluate their performance throughout the year, providing advice on how they can improve their output so their abilities can be improved and recognised.I have counselled people on their welfare requirements looking for ways to assist them resolve their dilemma; including the submission of applications for monetary assistance from the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. I have also been required to negotiate with various areas to achieve successful conclusions to situations, often sensitive but sometimes awkward. Indeed, as a Equality & Diversity Advisor I have had to negotiate with areas/persons to obtain a successful conclusion for all.I have attended courses to improve my abilities and employability within the RAF. These have included promotion courses, administration of personnel records and the usage of the systems in place. I have also been employed in an area where, under time critical requirements, I have moved personnel around the world to meet the RAFs needs (including operational locations) and also ensuring that the distribution of personnel has been equitable across the various locations to be able to meet the continued ability of the section, unit and Service. I have also been required to give judgement on personnel's employment at locations across the RAF, promotion and continued employment in the RAF.
