I have led a team of 3 and together we handled the complete regions finances within Asia, Africa, Far East and the Gulf Region spanning nearly 40 countries. I spearheaded the Annual Budget and the periodic forecasts with Performance Management & Gap Analysis my key responsibility. Based on the Budgets, I would work with the Management to set the Sales and Operations KPI’s followed by continuous evaluation and measurement. I would be a part of the company Board Meetings and the presentations as prepared the Board meeting packs. I would interact with the company stakeholders-Customers & Vendors, Internal Group Management at the Head Office and Auditors working towards operational Efficiency. I have kept a close eye on the receivables and the cash collection and made sure that cash was available for the company needs as well as keeping strict tabs on the DSO. I have successfully worked on an upgrade from the current Microsoft Dynamics solution of Navision 2018 to a cloud-based Microsoft solution called Business Central involving enhanced business processes right from Solution Design to pre-Go live. Post the group acquisition of Acentic, I have onboarded Acentic South Africa office into Hoist fold and worked with the legal and compliance to ensure the process closed smoothly. I would initiate the multiyear Strategic plans and close the budget process for the Middle East, South Asia and Africa region and work closely with the team in India, South Africa and Sri Lanka to put up the Strategic Plans, Annual Budget and the monthly forecasts that followed each month. Every Forecast was a joint effort of the Business Teams and this involved Variance Analysis at all levels with discussions on remedial measures for the same.
