Salple is a consult-tech company that co-creates authentic, living Culture Codes for organisations. Salple’s purpose is to help leaders excite and delight the human spirit – work should be fulfilling as well as effective. A co-created, authentic, living Culture Code provides a powerful framework for leaders to get out of the centre of everything and empower their employees to become focused, aligned and fully engaged around a shared understanding of “what matters most”. Co-creating a Culture Code with the active participation of all employees is the antidote to blah-blah, seen it before, mission and values statements plastered on a wall that no-one remembers, much less lives by. It also helps you attract and retain the right employees who will “fit” with the DNA of your organisation and be positive contributors to the culture and your strategic goals. Salple uses a 3-step process to build authentic, living Culture Codes: Step 1 | Understand | Uses people analytics to identify and understand the behavioural drivers shaping your culture today. Step 2 | Co-create | Draws on the collective wisdom of your people to identify and codify your cultural DNA. Aligning and engaging effort with your aspirations for the future. Step 3 | Energise and Sustain | Leverages intrinsic motivators and the power of habits to align, engage and energise your employees every day. Salple has worked with companies from 10 employees to 5000 and in industries ranging from digital agencies, through manufacturing, to health. As a co-founder of Salple, Glenn is involved in a broad range of activities, from spreading the message that culture is a powerful lever for achieving strategic goals, to overseeing the development of Salpulse - Salple’s Culture Activation Software Platform.

Director of Research
-
Oct 1988 - Feb 1999
When he ran CNC research at ANCA, Glenn was very successful, partly because he and his team looked at ways to pull ideas from other industries into the CNC field. His PhD research was about taking the concepts of Robotics, adapting them and applying them into CNC (which had never been done before). It was a disruptive strategy for the CNC tool grinder market. ANCA grew from $8m to $80m revenue during his 10-year tenure and completely changed the face of the tool grinding market. ANCA is now the global leader in CNC tool grinders and is an Australian Export Hall of Fame member employing over 1,000 people worldwide.
