Glenna worked for almost two years in the English Department as a student office assistant working with the faculty with Blackboard grading system. Her primary responsibilities included updating the department website, creating and designing posters and banner ads, assisting professors with Blackboard (I-learn), videotaping department events, and photography. Glenna is a self-directed and motivated individual who worked well under pressure. She was able to meet strict deadlines and worked well with others. Glenna became proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. She also worked with Audacity, Adobe Captivate, Flash and Dreamweaver. She also has strong communication skills which involves writing, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. When Glenna first began her employment in the English Department, she came ready to work and has been professional in every way. She is organized and very personable; she is a great communicator and public speaker. She has direction in her life, is organized, and had great rapport with the faculty. She is trustworthy, loyal, has integrity, and people oriented. I highly recommend Glenna for any position she is qualified for. She will be a great investment for any business who decides she is a great fit for them.

It is my pleasure to recommend Glenna Lagazo. Dixie Regional Medical Center’s Communication Department benefited from Glenna’s excellent work through a summer internship arrangement in 2009. She contributed regularly to our hospital publications, interviewing staff, physicians, patients and their families to capture and share their stories. She has also helped with the development of brochures, advertisements, and other publications. Glenna unselfishly donated her time as the internship was unpaid, and was willing to tackle any assignment. She worked for many more hours than were required by the internship, and was always pleasant and professional. She went the extra mile to complete each task with excellence by the deadline needed. The project she completed of most help to us was a telephone survey obtaining perception information about our physician clinic in Parowan. Glenna worked with our Intermountain Medical Group leadership to develop the survey; completed the interviews; and compiled the findings in a helpful report we still use from time to time. Whoever is fortunate to have Glenna as part of their work team will enjoy her positive attitude, ideas, enthusiasm, and ability to see a project through from beginning to end with excellence.

Helped the communications team with various projects ranging from writing weekly stories to event planning. I attended press conferences with my supervisor Terri Draper, the Director of Communications for Intermountain Healthcare Southwest Region. The largest project I completed during my internship was a survey to compile customer profiles and attitudes towards Intermountain Healthcare.
