I was responsible for attending to the stamping and registration of Victorian security documentation on behalf of the Bank. The role required a sound knowledge of State Government Stamp Duty and Land Titles Office (LTO) Registration requirements and required me to liaise with the Victorian State Revenue Office (SRO) frequently. The position also required a strong understanding of the Banks products, policy & procedures and risk minimisation.

I was primarily responsible for preparing loan files in readiness for consumer finance settlements/funding and confirming that all documentary conditions have been met. This included checking that all existing and new security set down in the approval was held and in order and that all signatures of debtors and guarantors on new documentation had been verified. I liaised with customers, conveyancing firms, legal practitioners and our internal customers to meet settlement deadlines. A sound knowledge of conveyancing requirements was required in addition to the Banks own policy and procedures.
