      As a Director I have directed 1 act plays, cabarets, musicals and scene work for various units within the Advanced Diploma of Acting course and the certificate 4 in Acting for Stage and Screen course. I have conducted Musical Theatre masterclasses as well as the Musical Theatre History component in the Diploma of Musical Theatre course. I have sorted and catalogued the CADA library for the purposes of better manageability and easier resourcing. One of the main units I deliver as a trained assessor is The Actor's Process unit, which details the techniques needed to refine character development from page to stage. I have developed curriculum for the Stage Craft unit in the Advanced Diploma course as well as refine other units of learning within the different course that are offered at CADA.

      Jonathan Harvey the writer of the hit B.B.C. series “Beautiful People” and “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” received an Olivier nomination for “Beautiful Thing” as well as the John Whiting Award. After a sell out season on West End the play was turned into a screenplay in 1996 with Hettie Macdonald directing the film for Channel 4. This production of “Beautiful Thing“ was the Tasmanian premiere of Jonathan Harvey’s play. Produced by the Old Nick Company, the production was directed by V.C.A graduate Glenn Braithwaite with Set design by Carolyn Whamond. The cast includes actors; Clare Gray, Jessica Davies, Rowan Harris, Campbell McKenzie and Benjamin Winckle. “Beautiful Thing” was staged at the Peacock Theatre, Salamanca Arts Centre. The show opened for a limited season on Friday 16th July 2010. The season ran until Saturday the 24th July 2010.
