During 2013-2014, Glenn was part of the Humasol board of directors as Project Manager. During the period I was president of the organization, Glenn was one of my direct reports. He was capable to manage successful 10 international projects on 4 different location (Peru, Uganda, Senegal and Cambodia) which are executed by 26 project engineers. Glenn has a strong knowledge of the different types of renewable energy technologies on the market. One of his main tasks was the operational follow-up of the projects together with the project partners and the other project stakeholders. His biggest accomplishment was the successful increase of the project capacity from 5 to 10 projects, which fulfilled our mission to make renewable energy accessible to everyone. The success and the realization of new technologies such as: moisture sensor, data logger, small-scale biogas plant and the startup of a social business demonstrates his ambition to deal with new challenges. What made him successful was to adapt the renewable energy technologies to the local needs of the smaller communities in less developed regions in the world. What I appreciated the most about Glenn, was his pragmatic approach towards complex problems.
