In August 2006 I became the first Dane to be elected chairman of Mensa International's election committee. The international election took place in spring 2007 and was conducted in collaboration with Mensa International's administration and election officials in each member.Thus, I gained practical experience with a variety of legal areas at high level and particularly about the rules governing organizations and constitutional theory. The Ombudsman´s function is to mediate and advise in conflicts and to be the final interpreter of the bylaws. I took the initiative and was responsible for the drafting of a whole new set of bylaws for Mensa Denmark ratified the 30th of November 2002. I have solved several legal conflicts and have successfully mediated in conflicts among the members.
