To drive and manage the MPS for the tactical horizon (2/3-12 months) ensuring capacity & resources are in place to support agreed demand plan to satisfy the Customer requirements and to keep the inventory at the next handover point of the supply chain at the agreed target level. To be responsible for the service to customers ensuring the availability, in terms of date and quantity, of the shipping items to the next point of supply. Establishing optimal MPS for the tactical horizon from time fence (month 2-3) to 12 months, including: Production volumes based on demand, Rough Production Capacity analysis, Resources allocation resulting in anticipated operational costs and inventory levels. Is managing for the finished product and semifinished product inventory, capacity and resources planning for the whole production unit for the tactical horizon. (Including Warehouse products) Aligns MPS to the production plan approved in S&OP Coordinates action plans to remediate to resources constraints. Optimizes local planning processes such as lead times, product segmentation, and production frequencies to increase the efficiency of the production unit. To ensure right level of Inventories at the next point of the supply chain. Owns planning parameters in SAP system like MOQ, Campaign size, Product Segmentation. Leads action plans to achieve supply performance target and drive for continuous improvement. Managing production KPI reporting and analysis. Monitoring the departments KPI's; vehicle efficiency, area management, inventory management, FIFO accuracy, Enabling and Facilitating Supply Review Meeting and actively support the entire S&OP process with Material Planning Team.
