Worked under Prof. Dr. Christoph Rademacher to study a targeted delivery platform to induce Langerhans cells and Langerhans like cells. The project was focused on identifying an appropriate cellular assay format to monitor primary human Langerhans cells directly isolated from patient skin and liposome formulation for the targeted delivery. I worked in the laboratory of Associate Professor Duygu Sag Wingender, where the main research was about metabolism and macrophage inflammatory responses. Here, I was involved in both animal and human studies that aimed to determine the role of ABCG1 modulation on macrophages. I have obtained experience in Western blot, ELISA, RT-PCR. Besides the experimental work, I facilitated generic lab paperwork and manage lab purchases.
