  As part of my responsibilities, I oversaw the technical documentation related to tenders for various construction projects including Expressways, Piling works, Soft soil Improvements, and Earth works. This entailed managing construction methodologies, work programs, and resource planning. Furthermore, I was tasked with preparing design and calculation reports for ground improvement works at the Expressway project. In addition to this, I personally supervised all on-site activities in accordance with approved method statements. Additionally, I managed the machine fleet responsible for earthworks such as embankments and excavations of soil and rock at the Expressway project. As a crucial component of the project, I spearheaded a Borehole Investigation campaign to obtain geotechnical parameters for the design of critical structures such as viaducts and soft soil improvement areas. Investigation was done with 6+ drilling teams while conducting 200+ Boreholes under highly urbanized area which was full of Utility lines underneath. Some Boreholes had gone around 70m down.   I actively worked as an Engineer in one of the Beautiful and Major Fly-Over within colombo region called “New Kelani Bridge” which was funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). I was conducted 100+ Bored cast in-situ piles within the site as a Site Engineer. Then I was appointed to manage the other site sections for overlooking the Rectification of Piles by Flushing, Grouting of failed Piles and re-do the tests such as Cross Hole Sonic Logging and High Strain Dynamic Load Tests. Undertook the geotechnical Investigation for Expressway Project (“Central Expressway Project: Section 2: Package B”, 10 km) while mobilizing 6 drilling teams to conduct 200+ Boreholes within 06 month period under the challenging terrain condition with the technical staff in which include only myself. I handled all the site works such as supplying resources to drilling teams, managing day to day running repairs, petty-cash handling, conducting of laboratory tests and documentation to the consultant. Appointed as Site Manager to overlook 60 Bored-cast In-situ Piles for High-Rise building while taking care of Quality Control and Quality Assurance of the Deep Foundation. Show less
