      During the semester at the Saxo Institute (KU), I have studied the Middle Byzantine notation and learnt how to transcribe it into the modern staff one. Also, I have prepared a research project in order to apply for a PhD scholarship at the University of Copenhagen, by presenting a comparative analysis between the tradition transmitted by late-medieval Byzantine musical manuscripts and the oral liturgical chant repertoire of the Italo-Greek (Albanian) communities in Sicily.
