      The objective of this thesis is to map the integration of service facilities into railway capacity allocation processes. It is conducted in cooperation with FTE, the European association of railway undertakings. The research analyses the market needs of the industry (e.g. best practices in Europe) and finally proposes recommendations (processes) on how to integrate service facilities in the harmonised and integrated allocation of capacity/slots, but also in long-term strategic railway planning.
