I cover the northwest area of Italy (Piemonte, Lombardia, Liguria, and if advanced support is needed Toscana and Emilia-Romagna) for the CT department of Canon Medical Systems. I received full-service certification from the Advanced Engineering course made by the European Service department and I am fully independent during installation, CT breakdown diagnoses and support, and of course maintenance. I am currently receiving training on advanced imaging software support and installation (Vitrea from Vital Images) and IT basics for system remote configuration and support.

I represented Althea Group as the on-site service support, covering mainly the role of the RIS-PACS administrator and giving support for the development and implementation of the projects requested by the client (ASL Alessandria). Other than the main role of RIS-PACS Administrator, under the digitalization effort guided by the ASL administration, I was the leading figure managing and supporting: - Implementation of a Telemedicine program and training of the medical personnel. - Implementation of a digital signature project for radiologists. - Implementation of a digital legal conservation system for digital medical for the ASL radiology. - General support and consulting in every project involving the Radiology departments or telemedicine.

Following the evolution of the project around optimization of electrical and optical properties of Silver Nanowire network (Ag-NW) for transparent electrode applications, I went back to the IMN Under Prof. Chris Ewels guidance for DFT modeling of their interfaces with other 2D and 1D materials. During the secondmend I had also the opportunity to partecipate with an oral talk at the NanoteC17 conference. Under supervision of Prof. Raul Arenal, and the Marie-Curie ITN colleague Mario Pelaez Fernandez operqting the machine, I performed TEM Imaging of our Silver Nanowire networks for Transparent Electrode Applications. I have also made graphene monolayers samples for a collaboration project between Sussex University and INA. Under the guidance of Prof. Chris Ewels, I started to developed a DTF model of the Silver - Graphene interface, while also characterising our own graphene-coated silver nanowires with their local Raman spectrometer. My main activity was the involvement in heart-tissue engineering related researches of the center, under the subgroup lead by Dr. Su-Ryon Shin. My first personal tasks involved the development of new innovative techniques for direct bioprinting of heart tissue using conductive bioink and encapsulation of cardiac cells in GelMA hydrogel. My main project, and Master Thesis topic, instead was the development of a quasi-3D in-vitro model of cardiac fibrosis, one of the first of his kind in literature, with mechanical characterization, analyses of natural beating, beating behavior under stimulant drugs and beating after inducing fibrosis. Finally, we analyze the response of our model to one of the most promising and simple treatment to induce fibrosis recession, using MSC (mesenchimal stem cell) conditioned media as culture media for our samples. As a Research Trainee, I learned also how to properly work in a cell culture room, becoming quickly one of the person in charge of helping and training newcomers of the lab. As a personal duty, my responsibility in the laboratory was the management of general purpose equipment for the laboratory and distribution of the ordered chemicals to the person on duty for them.
