Thesis research focused on synthesis and reactivity of half-sandwich ruthenium (II) complexes with an allyl-phosphinitic ligand. The thesis object was to optimize the synthesis of precursors and to analyze the reactive behavior of these complexes in [2+2] coupling reactions and nucleophilic substitution. Characterization of allyl-phosphinite complexes of ruthenium (II) were performed using SC-XRD and NMR techniques.
