The World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. The unit I had the honor to work with is the Business Innovation Unit (BIU), that promotes innovation and change within the organization and acts as the “management consulting” arm of the WFP. In BIU are executed end-to-end solutions, including data analysis and operational model design, for any WFP department as well as other UN entities (e.g. UN Women, FAO, UNICEF, etc.).
