  Performed quantitative minerography applied to iron ore, in a reflected light microscope. The microstructures were differentiated according to the morphology of the grains and polycrystals of: granular hematite, tabular hematite, martitic hematite, granular/tabular polycrystalline hematite, lobular hematite, magnetite, gibbsite, quartz, earthy materials and others.
